Highams Park School is a mixed 11-18 voluntary aided comprehensive school. Since 1st September 1997 it has been a technology college. The governors continue to run the school supported by a private charitable foundation.

Hope Valley College is a small rural comprehensive school of 570 students aged 11 - 16 in the Peak District National Park. Some 500 adult students are also engaged in learning at the College each week.
